Apple Stairway

Walking along with you
Talking happiness and what its worth
I think we're happy, aren't we?

Then I talk about the sun up there
Yes look up there!
About how we can get there,
What we will do up there
Why are you lowering your head?
It's up there!
Follow my finger direction
Are you hesitating?

We take a rest under an apple tree
I've got an idea
We can make a use of these apples
We can build an apple stairway up to the sun!
Isn't it marvellous?

But I see you just sitting under the tree's shadow
I think you're not following me

Maybe it's just me and my silly story
Maybe it would all end up as a fairytale
But I'll keep building the apple stairway
Someday I'll walk it through with my hand held
